Mr. Cozad co-founded Stonerise Capital Partners in 2007. From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Cozad was a Partner at Blum Capital Partners where he was a member of the firm's investment team, Management/Finance committees and also led the firm's capital markets efforts. During Mr. Cozadís tenure at Blum, the firm deployed over $3.5 billion in capital in investments including both public strategic blocks and private equity investments, including the highly successful CB Richard Ellis investment (a board on which he served for 5 years). Prior to joining Blum, Mr. Cozad was a Managing Director of Security Capital Group Incorporated, a $4.5 billion global real estate research, investment and operating management company. His responsibilities included overseeing seven portfolio companies with an aggregate market value of approximately $8.0 billion, and from 1994 to 1996 running the firmís Global Capital Markets Group. Mr. Cozad played key leadership roles in managing Security Capitalís growth as the firmís assets grew from $100 million as a start-up company in 1991 to over $20 billion at the time the company was sold to General Electric in 2001. Previously, Mr. Cozad was employed by both Morgan Stanley and LaSalle Partners Incorporated. Prior public company board seats include: CB Richard Ellis, Regency Realty and Security Capital U.S. Realty. Prior private company board/advisory committee seats include: Pacific Retail Trust and Pall Mall Partners. Mr. Cozad holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also received a BA in Economics and Management from DePauw University, where he serves on the Board of Trustees.
Mr. Medeiros co-founded Stonerise Capital Partners in 2007. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Medeiros was a Partner at Blum Capital Partners where, as a member of the firmís Investment Committee, he managed a concentrated portfolio of public and private investments across a variety of industries including business services, technology and healthcare. During Mr. Medeirosís tenure at Blum, the firm deployed over $4.3 billion in capital in both public strategic blocks and private equity investments. Prior to joining Blum Capital, Mr. Medeiros was a Vice President in the Technology Mergers & Acquisitions group of Robertson Stephens & Company. Prior to Robertson Stephens, Mr. Medeiros was an Associate at McKinsey & Company in the United States and overseas, focusing on strategy, M&A and operational turnaround engagements. Prior board seats: Renosa SA (privately owned Coca-Cola bottler) and Suntron Corporation. Mr. Medeiros earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School (second year honors) and a BA from FGV (Brazil).
Mr. Walker co-founded Stonerise Capital Partners in 2007. From 1997 to 2006, Mr. Walker was a Partner at Blum Capital Partners where, as a member of the firmís Investment Committee, he managed a concentrated portfolio of public and private investments across a variety of industries including business services, financial services, consumer goods and healthcare. During Mr. Walkerís tenure at Blum, the firm deployed over $4.7 billion in capital including both public strategic blocks and private equity investments. Mr. Walker was also involved in the investment processes of the internationally-oriented Newbridge entities (co-founded by Blum Capital and TPG) whose investment activities were focused on private equity transactions in a variety of international markets throughout Asia and Latin America. Prior to joining Blum Capital, Mr. Walker was employed at an investment holding company for Asian entrepreneur T. Ananda Krishnan, where he was active in both private equity and public market investing. Previously, Mr. Walker worked in the energy industry. Mr. Walker received an MBA from Oklahoma State University and a BA in Geology from the University of Oklahoma. In addition, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
Mr. Morelli joined Stonerise Capital Partners in 2015. Prior to joining Stonerise, Mr. Morelli spent over four years at Columbus Capital Management where he served as the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Compliance Officer, primarily responsible for all financial, operational and compliance functions for the firm and the four funds that it managed. He also managed the institutionalization of the firm, its initial SEC registration and external service providers. From 2008 - 2010, Mr. Morelli was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Colchis Capital Management. Prior to joining Colchis Capital Management, Mr. Morelli held various positions at GMN Capital, Symmetry Capital Management, Neuberger Technology Management, the Auditor's Office of the State of Massachusetts, The Boston Company and KPMG, LLP. Mr. Morelli has a BS from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Ms. Bigness joined Stonerise Capital Partners in 2013. From 2007 Ė 2013, Ms. Bigness was an Operations and Compliance Manager at Primary Funds, LLC where she was responsible for the preparation and submission of the firmís federal and state regulatory filings, the development, implementation and monitoring of the firmís compliance program, and the day-to-day fund operational activities. Prior to joining Primary Funds, LLC, Ms. Bigness held positions at BancWest Investment Services as an Investment Compliance Officer, First Albany Corporation as an Equities Compliance Analyst and Robertson Stephens & Company as an Institutional Equity Sales Compliance Supervisor. Ms. Bigness received an MBA and a BA in Management from the School of Economics and Business Administration at Saint Maryís College of California.
